The question was in what condition does recurrent staphylococcal abscesses occur?

This occurs in Hyperimmunoglobulinaemia E (Job  syndrome)

In 1966 Job described 2 patients with eczematous dermatitis ,recurrent staphylococcal boils , hyperextensible joints and coarse facies.

In 1972 Buckley et al reported the association with hyperimmunoglobulinaemia E

This condition is inherited in an autosomal dominant manner with variable penetrance.

It causes recurrent skin and lung infection , chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis , multiple fractures, other skeletal abnormalities , eczematous dermatitis and typicl facial features including coarse facies.
