preparation for mrcp part 1 could be divided into:
1) acquiring knowledege
2) examination technique
3) practice

To acquire knowledge one should read extensively , attend lectures if available and take part in tutorials if available. Use the reading list given on the website.

Examination technique is best developed under the guidance of a good teacher but if one is not available use the first part of one of the many question books available as they give many hints.

Where practice is concerned there are many books available and websites . I will throw this open to other visitors to give their opinion regarding these as they are likley to have more up to date first hand information regarding these .

This is only a short discussion of this subject as time is a constraint at the moment because of my other ongoing project. I will try to expand on this later on the website.
I hope that others will discuss this issue and expand futher in the meantime.
Regards ,
basj

I have published two books
Keys to success in medicine which is a book of highly stuctured medical revision notes on important subjects for rapid revision for mrcp part 1 , mrcp part 2 and paces
aces for paces which is a book on clinical method for mrcp paces
the two books complement each other and will be very useful for your preparation
they should be used from the early stages of your preparation in order to allow repeated revision
