At MRCP PART2 BOF: Q96
The same Q appeared at other website and said the answer stool toxin wrong as toxin remain +ve 6wks after Tx so best answer is sigmoidoscopy and biopsy

sigmoidoscopy and biopsy were not options in the question 
colonoscopy is the option and this would not be indicated at this stage of the illness

C. difficile toxin should clear from the stool of previously infected patients if treatment is effective.

agree clear toxin but not immediatly as it takes 6wkshmm

stools clear of toxin - look for something else 
stools with toxin - treat and watch for improvement
endoscopy only as second line
this would be a practical way of managing
